Sure Has Been A Minute!
Wow, it has really been a minute, hasn’t it?
With everyone staying inside (yes, please!) I have been shooting zero family sessions. I have been spending my time making masks and donating the sales (hit me up if you need some!), reading up on current events, and picking up the hobby of ice cream making.
I am grateful to be from Massachusetts where we have managed to get our numbers of COVID cases down. I’m not running out to the movies anytime soon, mind you, but I am grateful for where I am, and thoughtful for those in hot spots around the country. I sure hope we can get it together!
Ready to get a break from her part of the country, my friend N got in touch when, on a whim, she decided to come to MA for a visit with her sister. I got to see my friend (gosh not hugging is the worst, isn’t it?!), and I had the thrill of shooting a family session for the first time in a long time.
I kind of wondered if I could still do it. How does this work again?
Not only did it go well but it was a genuinely fun time. Outdoors and from a distance, it was safe and successful.
My favorite series from this session is between the two young sisters. Big sister was shy about her smile, which is glorious. Little sister got the smile to come out! (Love!)
So, if you’re looking for a safe way to do something that will occupy you, get the whole family involved, and result in some nice photos during an incredibly weird time, please get in touch!
